WELCOME TO STORY PAGE TWO.

In story page two, you will meet some new characters, read more mail and watch the discrimination and retaliation continue to escalate out of control. Special Guest discriminators and retaliators include:
"Bradford the Educated",
"Those little devils",
"the Flower"

Ok, hopefully everyone could catch a breath between pages.  So now I am ready to make the call to "Bradford the Educated" at the appropriate time, right to the minute.  "Bradford the Educated" answered and we began our verbal discourse (that's talking for you discriminators / retaliators) about what was going on at GE Supply in Sacramento.

"Bradford the Educated"  seemed to be kind of a cool guy, but also thorough in his questions and in retrospect formulated questions that might be considered somewhat "self serving".  I was impressed and thought that finally this guy was going to get stuff done and then "click" the phone went dead.

I thought that was an interesting turn of events, so I called "Bradford the Educated" back, no answer, then about a minute or so later "Bradford the Educated" called me back and we finished the conversation.  I did not occur to me until a little while later that it was probably "Bradford the Educated" turning over the tape (Good one Rob).

So time passed as I recall about another month or so and during that time I emailed "Peter Rabbit" and "Bradford the Educated" and let them know that I couldn't take much more, physically or mentally. (1)

Peter:

I sent an Excel spreadsheet that was sent to my by Jeff Cull outlining the GE FANUC COOP funds expenditure for hse 775 and my concerns.  Are we making progress?

Brad:

I sent a copy of an email reflecting what I call continuing isolation by my manager.  I am in the middle of designing 4 projects at the moment, 2 for ASCO, ! for Pace Engineering and 1 for a customer in India.  I guess it is somewhat frustrating that I must continually go fishing behind the scenes to get the information that I need to do my job.  These types of situations only contribute to am ever increasing level of stress and ultimately lead to my becoming less effective in my job.

I realize that I surfaced these concerns a little over a month ago and it takes time to resolve specific issues.  I would like to get some status, at least on the "HR" part soon.

Best regards'
Rob

A week or so later I finally received an Email requesting me to join a conference call between "Bradford the Educated", "Pinocchio, "The Flower" and me.

Well now I thought to myself, this is kind of looking like a three on one, not my kind of odds.   I emailed "Peter Rabbit" and "Bradford the Educated" and asked why we couldn't have some other representation on the call as well. (2)
As I recall, the response from "Peter Rabbit" was that we would reach out to GE Fanuc or "others" when the time was right.

Brad / Peter

Sorry about being a little redundant here, just making sure we are all on the same page.

Recently, yesterday 1/30/06 Brad and Rob discussed the possibility of a conference call to "alleviate some of the stress" associated with the ADA / Integrity issues that I have presented to your collective attention.  As I recall from our (Brad / Rob) conversation the players would be as follows:

Brad Greene - GES - HR
Jim Hubberd - GES West Region Manager
Scott LaFleur - GES Branch Manager
Rob Delsman - GES Automation Specialist

After looking at the cast of characters, I believe that it would be expeditious if we included the following characters in the conference call, they would be:

Steve Pavlosky - GEF Marketing Manager
Steve Szamochi - GEF VP Sales
Steve Kelekian - GEF West Regional Manager

I believe that including the "three Steves" could greatly facilitate clarification of any policy issues regarding SPA's, CO-OP funds or other business that directly relates to GEF and could assist in what Peter is working on.  I can provide the necessary documentation to the "three Steves" to expedite the process as necessary.

Please advise soon.

Best regards,

So a day or so later I received one of those little Email invitations to join in on the conference call with: Those Little Devils

"BRADFORD THE EDUCATED", "PINOCCHIO AND "THE FLOWER"

Based on "Peter Rabbit's" response, I sent the Email as reflected below to "Bradford the Educated" simply requesting information pertaining to the call. (3)

Brad,
I received the appointment for a conference call between:

Scott LaFleur
Brad Green
Jim Hibberd
Rob Delsman

Are these the only persons on the call?
Is the call going to be recorded?
Is there an outline of the topics of discussion?

Do we need further input from Peter Cavanaugh before we all talk, or are we ready to go?
Is there any reason that GE FANUC is being excluded from the call?

Best regards,

Rob Delsman

I waited almost a week for a response (that never came) and believing that it would be good manners to let "those little devils" know ahead of time, I cancelled the call 24 hours prior.
After all we can't have these high dollar guys sitting around waiting for me to call, now can we?

ROB SENDS THE NEWS TO "THOSE LITTLE DEVILS: (4)

(4)

Brad / Peter,
It looks like I am in the position of having to decline the conference call between:
Greene
Hibberd
LaFleur
Delsman

The previous email was a simple request for information so that I might be better prepared to interact on the call. At this time I certainly do not feel that I am properly equipped to engage in this activity and therefore will decline. Since the corridor for communication appears to be closed at this time, I will seek other avenues to communicate my concerns while remaining in the GE "command structure". That failing, I will seek legal advice from outside council.

Best regards,

Rob Delsman

ROB DISCOVERS "BRADFORD THE EDUCATED" IS NOT HIS PAL ANYMORE: (5)

____________________________________________________________________________

(5)

Rob,

As I mentioned when you and I spoke, there are really two issues that you surfaced:

 1.  Your concern over the requirement that Scott Lafleur placed upon you to spend considerably more time working out of the branch

2.  The pricing and commercial concerns you raised regarding GE Fanuc

The purpose of the call that we are trying to arrange between you, Jim, Scott and me is to address the former.  Peter Cavanaugh is handling the second issue separately and that will not be a part of the call we are trying to arrange.

Accordingly it will only be you, me, Jim and Scott on the call.  These are the only people relevant to the discussion of Lafleur's requirement that you be in the office and your position that the additional time in the office is not required.

The call will not be recorded.

The topic for the call is the difference of opinion that you and Scott Lafleur have over the amount of time you need to be working out of the branch.

We do not need additinional information from Peter Cavanaugh to conduct this call.

We do not need anyone from GE Fanuc present for this call.

Contrary to your assertion that the corridor for communication is closed, this call is a means to openly and directly discuss one of the concerns you raised and we would expect that you would take advantage of that opportunity.  Of course, you are always free to seek advice from outside legal counsel

ROB MAKES ONE LAST ATTEMPT AT CONCILIATION (6)

(6)

Brad,

It is certainly not my intent to seem obtuse or uncooperative here. In my opinion, the issues are clearly related and therefore should not be bifurcated and handled separately.  The issue of "spend 3 days a week in the office" was prefaced with the comment "if you won't quit then you will".  The commercial issues relate as well.

I am sorry that we don't see eye to eye on these issues and harbor no ill will or resentment towards your efforts in resolving this matter. At this point I am feeling overwhelmed by all of this and am not ready to participate in the call.  I guess I need some advise.  Again sorry, it was not my intent to hit you with this at the end of the day, I am really busy keeping our customers up and running.

 Best regards,

 Rob Delsman
